My name is Pooya Forghani Aghdam. I was born on November 3rd, 1982 (12 Abaan 1361) in Tehran. I was the first child and until the age of 6, I grew up in the Sattarkhan area of Tehran . At the age of 6 my family and I moved to "Shahrake Ekbatan" where I started going to school. I attended "Moalleme-Shahid" elementary school for 2 years, and "Jaberebne Hayyan" school in grades 3 and 4. When I was about 10, in summer of 1992, my father was offered a job in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. So my family and I moved to Dubai, where I started going to "Tohid" school.

In 1993, my brother Faraz was born. I studied in Tohid School and got my diploma in grade 11. After that, I didn't stay in Tohid for Pishdaneshgahi (Pre-college) and instead I went to "Mawakeb School (Barsha)".

After graduating from a 12 year system in Mawakeb, I decided to go to the States, but unfortunately the American Embassy refused to give me a student visa. So by the advice of my high school supervisor, Mr. Adonis Nasr, I went to the American University in Dubai (AUD). I majored in Information Technology at AUD for 2 years, made a lot of friends and took part in a lot of student clubs and activities, including the Persian Club and the Student Government Association. At this time one of my friends (Navid) was studying at the University of Waterloo in Canada , and he was majoring in Computer Science. With Navid's encouragement, and with the hope of gaining a better education and an experience of independence I decided to apply to University of Waterloo, and I got accepted.

I moved to Canada in the fall of 2002. Unfortunately my AUD credits did not get transferred and I started over and now I am in third year of Computer Science.

I am 21 now, and during these years I have managed to make and keep a lot of amazing friends. I made this website, with the hope of strengthening the bond between my friends and I forever. Truly, it is to you my dear friends, that I dedicate this website as its name indicates. I wish all of you good luck in your life wherever you are, and hope to see you very soon.
