Dariush Concert & Exams
Last night it was Dariush's Concert and Michael was performing too. I had never seen his performances, he immitates other singers and in my opinion he's pretty good at it. He even performed together with Dariush on stage, and when he immitated Dariush's voice it was almost impossible to tell whether it is him singing or Dariush himself. He's really talented and funny too. So if you ever got the chance to watch him in a concert, don't miss that chance. I took about 100 pictures last night, but because I didn't have a camera stand, only a few of them turned out to be nice and sharp. You can check them out in the pictures section.
Starting tomorrow, all hell breaks loose, and I'll have to start studying for exams, HARDCORE! my first exam is on Dec. 11, and I finish on the 16th. I'm gonna spend the holidays here in Canada, and won't be flying back to Dubai this time. So for all of my friends back in Dubai, I hope you have a blast, and I'll see you all in Summer. Also, I don't think I'll be able to update the site during these two weeks, and not much is gonna be happening anyways. Finally, wish me luck in my exams. And to all you people doing exams during these two weeks: GOOD LUCK!

Barobax.net bypasses 1000 hits
Today, Barobax.net received its 1000th hit. It's been one month since I launched this website, and it seems to me that 1000 hits in one month is a pretty nice figure. Anyways, I hope to be able to keep this page updated as often, and hopefully to add more features in the future. Thanks for all your support.

I Wish I Was Under-Age
Last night, was One Thousand & One Nights, the Persian/Arab party and I was surprised to see that the people in the party, both Arabs and Persians, were mostly underage. From the Arab side you could feel a certain lack of maleness, I was wondering where the guys are! From the Persian side, there was almost equal number of guys and girls, but I was standing there looking at the crowd realizing that you could draw an imaginary circle around the Persian girls in such a way that no imaginary! guy is within that circle. Guys and girls be all dancing with the same sex like homos! And I'm there standing, about to bang my head against the wall because of such shameful behavior. I remember that 2 years ago I went to a party in Tehran. When I walked into the house, the whole place was about to explode, so many people, guys and girls all dancing with each other, and man you had to be there and see people dance, not only they weren't homos like we were last night, but also most of them be good dancers! Guys be dancing techno better than Scooter and girls be fillin' the air with a wave of tempting looks. But despite all this, I enjoyed myself last night. And even though most of the guys and girls were dancing seperately, the Persian guys did not seem to be bothered, because the presence of two particular girls supplied enough femaleness for all of the guys in the party, and I'd be going around, and each time they'd be in the arms of a different guy. I shall say hail to this generous pool of supply.

Guidelines & Maybe Some Hockey
Few minutes ago I was sitting behind my desk, thinking about my schedule tomorrow, that I suddenly noticed the label on the pills that I'm taking for my skin. Picture below:
Take 2 Capsule By MOUTH?! Excuse me?! For just a second, taking the capsule by any other body part crossed my mind. So there I was, sitting, thanking Dr. Stecho for his detailed and helpful directions. Because honestly, if that explicit detailed direction wasn't there, my life would be far more miserable than what now is.

Today after staying a year and a half in the land of Hockey Loving Canadians, Hamed and I went to watch a Hockey game which was between University of Waterloo and University of Toronto. I never enjoyed watching Hockey on TV, but I have to admit watching this game today was pretty exciting. The speed and the agressiveness of the game, made it a one hell of game. I have put up the pictures in the pictures page. Checkem out!

Fall Term Coming To An End
Evaluation time is approaching. Next week will be the last week of classes, and then 2 weeks of hell! I have 5 exams on 4 days! Can you imagine? Next week is the last chance to have fun. We have the 'One Thousand & One Nights' party here with arabs on Friday the 28th, and on 29th it's Dariush's concert in Toronto. Me and about 10 of my friends will be going to the concert. It better be good. I've been to quite a few of Dariush's concerts in Dubai. They're not that great. Eventhough I like Dariush's songs, I find his concerts too boring. I remember that every single time I went to his concert there was a fight. Seems like here in Canada, away from Iran, we see less of that attitude among Iranians. I find it stupid that the Persian Concerts here are all 'table concerts', where you can't stand! All of the fun in a concert lies within standing step by step next to the crowd in front of the stage and singing along the songs. In Dariush's concerts people usually lit candles or lighters. Now I'm starting to miss Dubai, all those memories...And when I think about Dubai, I immediately remember Tehran, and miss it so so much. Oh God! only if all of us could live in our own country, in peace. If all of these concerts, if this education, this organization, this harmony could exist in Iran. Iran would be heaven wouldn't it? Are we going to live in Iran once more? or are our grandchildren going to be born as Canadians, Americans and Europeans?

Soldiers of Passion!
Last night my friends and I went to one of the night clubs in Waterloo, henceforth denoted as the 'Domain of Love' or Loose Change Louies! As I entered 'da club, bottle full of bub', I saw blurry images of nudity and sexuality along with coarse language. Considering the month of Ramadan, I immediately approached the washroom and took a leak. I realized that by doing that the picture got much clearer and I could see the Soldiers of Passion dancing to the beats of a song widely known as 'Dirrty'.
I stood still going to a coma where the angles of God were brunette or blonde; pushing eachother either to the dance floor or the coat check. 10 minutes later my friends and I had scattered like mosquitos of African Sahara! We were all over the place, trying to get our share of that sweet love that was filling the air like the tempting smell of Catherine Zeta Jones in the Mask of Zorro! As I entered the dance floor trying to adjust to the beats, I took one look around, and a flash of sexual activity took me to a daydream where I started singing along the lines of 'come give me a hug if you into to getting rubbed'. People, in pairs of two, grabbing eachother aggressively trying to become one! I had no clue where I was, I thought it is the end of time, floating in imagination that Hootan passed by me -afraid!-, having his eyes locked on a target and approaching fast! I looked around and saw nothing but smoke! Of course it is always of your interest to hear more detailed stories, yet as usual the details of such activities whether educational or sexual, is beyond the scope of this article! That is why I refrain myself from giving you a closure and leave the rest to your complex minds of sinful thoughts. May the hands of Soldiers of Passion be with you at all times!

Matrix Revolutions
Just home from the theatre. If you liked Matrix 1 AND 2, I strongly suggest you watch this third installment. This third part really comes to explain the second part, and also entertains while remaining consistent with the philosophical theme of the original movie. If I were to rate the three parts, here's how its gonna be (A+ being the highest rating):
The Matrix: A
The Matrix Reloaded: C+
The Matrix Revolutions: B+
For those of you who are still confused about Matrix Reloaded, I suggest you click on the link above and read Neo's conversations with the Oracle and the Architect. Enjoy.

Spritual / non-physical World?
"If there is another type of reality besides the body, this non-body can survive death. The non -body can conceivably exist eternally in a non -physical world, enjoying non -physical pleasures or pains distributed by a non -physical God. This notion seems to be non -sense, but it apparently gives many people great comfort and hope." (Robert Carroll)

Celebration
HAHA! Let the celebration begin. Done with one huge project and 3 goddamn midterms here I am nice and clean out of the shower sitting right behind my desk writing to you fellow readers! Tomorrow, I will be celebrating the long gone birthday of mine. Although today was a rough day with a bad ass exam which I am probably going to fail along with millions of other Mathies who were crying outside the Math and Computer Science bulding due to the difficulties imposed on them by the Math239 or better known as Combinatorial Analysis and Graph Theory, how long can a sentence be for God's sake you must have probably fallen asleep by now because... OK! I'll stop.
FLASH NEWS: Hamed's father is gonna be coming here soon, and this requires me too clean up the house and pretend as if I am the nicest most decent ever studying all time flourishing Iranian International Student that the land of snow (henceforth denoted as Waterloo) has ever seen. Consequence of this action: Hamed will look bad! ;)

How To Get To Know A Canadian In 11 Easy Steps
Today, I was walking towards 26 Cardill, which happens to be where I live, that it came to me the method for getting to know a Canadian! I mean really this is no easy task! The first day I arrived here, I was looking for a Shawarma outlet in the Airport and waiting for the prayer to be called in the City Mall! Obviously, I had no means of communication between the people who lived on the far half of the globe and myself. I took back my passport from the Passport officer in the airport and said: "MASHKOOR" ! However, that was more than a year ago, and now having lived in the land of cold and snow for long enough I know how to make friends and to open conversations with Canadians and North Americans (minus Mexicans) alike.
Follow the following guide step by step, if you make a mistake, Thank You and Try Again:
1- Spot a Canadian/American Guy/Girl you would like to meet.
2- Prevent eye contact by all means. DO NOT look at him/her. You're not in Iran!
3- Get as close as possible. (I mean within meters dumbass, you're not going for a French Kiss OK?)
4- Suddenly look in the eye briefly and smile if you're a girl, raise your eyebrows if you're a guy.
5- DO NOT say hi. (Saying hi is the most dangerous of all approaches, the person would properly classify you as a loser and immediately ignore you for life. As if you approach someone you don't know on MSN messenger and say wanna have cybersex? you'll be immediately blocked)
6- Hang out for a very short period of time, and suddenly talk about something totally irreleavant. (e.g.: they haven't changed the music in this place for more than 3 years now. I wonder if there's anything else in their jukebox.)
7- The person would probably say something in reply. (probability is 87.6%) If they don't answer then you're one unlucky bastard, go home and play on your Atari.
8- Get personal FAST! (example: Are you in Arts or Math? Because I haven't seen you before...Arts? Awesome, I'm taking Arts101 this term...yeah with Prof. IZGAVOGICH, she's terrible, I know...but who cares...I don't attend the lectures ANYWAY! haha yeah I know the feeling.... bla bla blaaaaa....)
9- You get the hang of it. NOW, you think that at this point you'd be asking for a phone number or something? That's a NO NO! Suddenly get up and say, gotta run. DO NOT say goodbye. Saying goodbye is absolutely gay.
10- Leave the place immediately.
11- Next time you see the person (probability is 69.69%), pretend you know them for a million years, get personal, set a date for studying or something. Don't hesitate to ask for phone number etc.
Congradulations! You've just found a new Canadian/American friend.
